Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words so that the next generation could be able to read the words. Many words were replaced with foreign ones. For example dui, which was Bengali for verandah, was being used.

Origins

The early history of Toto which began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's economic expansion. In the first half, Toto produced goods to meet the demand for modern, brand new urban housing. It also pioneered automation for production control, which allows for greater efficiency and a more consistent production.

In the late 1980s the company began expanding overseas to take advantage of sales and new markets. This strategy helped increase sales and expand the market share of the company globally.

In the 1990s, Toto began to concentrate on research and development for water-related appliances. It also improved its distribution system to better serve the needs of its customers and to increase profits. The company embraced a just-in time approach to supply chain management and used the same method for its sales process. This resulted in a higher degree of customer satisfaction.

Toto continued to innovate toilet technology.  메이저사이트 , for instance, has a strong tornado flush that is more environmentally friendly than traditional toilets. They also performed on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

Discography

With a name like Asia, you would think that the group would be prog queens and kings - but it's actually a fairly straightforward rock band. The band was initially four members and released two albums in 1979, the self-titled debut album and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. Although the band have a variety of musical backgrounds their biggest hit was achieved in 1982 with Toto IV.

The album was a major blockbuster, but not without its share of issues. Record companies put the band on place with the directive "give us an album that's a smash or we'll sack you" and the pressure was on to meet the deadline. Luckily for Toto, they did and they did it with the help of the smash hit single "Africa."

Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before forming the group, the band members worked as session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their distinctive sound has become the standard of  the '80s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.

This album starts off hard with tracks like Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write amazing AOR songs that slowly work their hooks into your mind. The album also contains more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album closes with Great Expectations. This song mixes folk and distorted AOR which could seem like a complete blunder, but is very effective.

After Toto IV the band's fortunes started to plummet. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career, and the band was dominated by drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band following drug-related charges. The band continued to play with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.

Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation that was not as successful as IV. However, the group had a successful chart-topping album in 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. The album was the last of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

A new studio album was released shortly after, and the group embarked on an extensive world tour in support of the album. During this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.

In 1998, Paich & Lukather began exploring old tapes and demos to find songs that hadn't been recorded prior to. It was completed as a double album titled Then and Now in 2001. It was the first album in the history of the band not to feature any single song that had the word "A" in its title. It also included one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".

The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial flop and vocalist Williams was suffering from a severe laryngitis infection which hampered his singing. In addition, Hungate returned to Nashville, while drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.

Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia, met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the band could be revived. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was working with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.

In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured an appearance by singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
